PAVLOVA CAFE OPENED AN INTERNATIONAL FRANCHISE BUSINESS AS THE FIRST FOOD INDUSTRY REPRESENTATIVE IN ESTONIA

Cafe Pavlova, which has been operating on the Estonian market for five years, started a franchise business in Lithuania as the first food industry company in Estonia. Born out of one woman’s love for Pavlova, the company plans to move even further into the United Arab Emirates. Today, 2th of March, the first Pavlova Café was opened in Vilinius, in the shopping and catering district beloved by locals in Ogmias Miestas at Verkių g. 31A.

The author of the Pavlova concept, Olga Danilova, has previously been the presidential pastry chef and ran the company Supertort. She has traveled all over the world and tasted Pavlova wherever the delicious piece is served: “The fact that we opened the first franchise cafe here in Lithuania today is the result of five years of work, which we have done with love and precision. The franchise is our long-term dream and Lithuania’s first big step in this direction,” Olga points out. Partner Erika Scholler adds that the implementation of processes is the basis of success, but the biggest challenge is finding high-quality raw materials, which was still successful in Lithuania.

Vilnius cooperation partner Sniezana Daubaras comments: “Initially, we tried to open a cafe in the old town, but Pavlova has a lot of different criteria that we have to fulfill. Due to the equipment, we still opened the place, but in the center of Ogmias Miestas. The calming fact is that the chef in the Cafes’ kitchen is my son and he has been a chef for 10 years. It definitely makes me calmer.”

The franchising process was led by the representative office of the American company Francorp in Latvia. Entrepreneurs Olga Danilova and Erika Scholler are the first in the food industry in Estonia to have sold a franchise. Next goal is to expand to the Arab market.
